Hi, I'm Dax. I'm a senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, and I'm a third generation photographer.

Most of what I shoot is sports, and I got there through playing. I've been in the pool most of my life, and I'm a two year varsity water polo captain and a varsity swimmer.

Sports isn't all I do. I've shot media days, underwater sessions, company events, family shoots, Christmas cards, senior photos, and travel.

I primarily shoot with a Sony a7 IV. I also have experience with polaroid and film cameras.

I have a project called Pictures for Purpose, which uses my photography to raise money for Bellarmine's tuition assistance fund. It has raised and donated over $10,000 so far. Bellarmine has done a lot for me, and this is the best way I've found to give some of that back.
